I will be going into college soon, and I was wondering how to stay fit with the hectic schedule and limited time I will have. Can you please recommend some food and exercise I can do that won’t make me too tired to study?
Going to college could be a change in lifestyle that actually makes you healthier, even though you are busier, too. The key ingredients are discipline and consistency. Begin by finding a convenient place where you can work out. It could be your bedroom floor. If that is the case, make sure you have the tools you’ll need, like handweights, a fitness mat and maybe a jump rope or a step bench. If you have a 10-minute break in your day, it will be easy for you to do a set of exercises.
Getting enough sleep is also important so you have the energy to keep up with your workouts. Eat plenty of veggies, and make sure you don’t over-indulge in junk foods or high fat carbs. If you eat more tuna and less pasta each day you can stay lean. In general, stay active and balance your intake of calories with your energy output. On the days when you are more sedentary, monitor what you eat so it never gets out of control. Good luck with college and keep your health a high priority.
