Pre-Wedding Workout And Weight Loss Tips

I am a 27-year-old female. I am getting married in six months and am ready to lose the excess weight that I have gained over the last year. I have gone from a size 11 to a size 16 or 18. I eat a pretty healthy diet, but do not exercise. Where is a good place to start so I can look healthier in time for my wedding in June?

In six months, you should be able to return to size 11 and be a healthy bride.

A good way to start is to use home videos, fitness books, fitness magazines, and your local gym. Look for a trainer, classes, or whatever keeps you motivated and informed.

Exercise is one of the key elements of losing weight. Food intake is just as important. The safest way to lose one pound a week is a combined program of correct exercise and proper diet.

Do a two-mile walk or any other aerobic activity you like, nonstop, for no less than 20 minutes three to five times per week. Include weight training for the major muscle groups.

Good luck to you and congratulations on your wedding!
