Complications may include allergic reactions to medications or equipments used during the surgery. During liposuction many puncture wounds are made for the insertion of cannula, these may result to infections from bacteria. Skin and tissue damage may also happen due to the misuse of the cannula.
Other possible complications may include burns, puncture of internal organs, fluid imbalance and contour irregularities and some of these may result in death. So never hesitate to consult your doctor before undergoing liposuction to ensure your safety and health.
